Lindsey 701 is a different fabric choice from many spandex-containing scrub pants. The main twill is 55 percent cotton and 45 percent polyester, and the lower leg has a bootcut shape. Our Flare filter includes this bootcut style.
Why the hem detail matters
koi identifies an adjustable toggle at the ankle. It gives the lower leg an adjustment point, but it is not the same construction as a ribbed jogger cuff. Look at the hem both open and adjusted while wearing your work shoes.
If the entire leg is too long, do not assume tightening the ankle will fix where the knee and cargo pockets sit. Compare an appropriate length first, then use the hem adjustment for its intended local change.
Storage and fabric come before stretch assumptions
The manufacturer documents seven pockets, including scissors storage, plus a D-ring. Decide which compartments you will actually use and check whether loaded pockets interfere with sitting. A pocket’s closure or shape may matter more to you than the total.
No spandex appears in the published main-fabric composition. That does not quantify how the finished garment feels in motion. Use a seated and bending fit check rather than treating either “cotton blend” or the absence of spandex as a complete comfort verdict.
Compare against the right alternative
Holly offers a straight leg in polyester/spandex; Lindsey is the more relevant comparison when cotton-rich twill and a bootcut are your specific preferences. Both need a careful low-rise fit check.
