Cherokee calls it a two-pocket pant because that title counts the main pockets, a distinction worth remembering when comparing storage totals.
Choose the cut before the size label
The official fit is unisex with a mid rise and straight leg. Start with the waist and hip chart rather than borrowing a size from a women’s contoured style. Check the seat and thigh while sitting, too; tightening the cord cannot change those dimensions.
This is a sensible style to inspect if you favor limited pocket bulk, but it offers fewer separate storage areas than a multi-cargo pant. Make sure the single side location works for the items you reach for most often, especially if you carry a phone throughout the day.
One color changes the composition
Most colorways use 65% polyester and 35% cotton poplin. Cherokee lists white separately as 55% cotton and 45% polyester. The manufacturer’s lengths are short 28½ inches, regular 31 inches and tall 34 inches. Check both color and length when comparing variants, since neither the fabric exception nor the inseam can be inferred from the generic Originals name.
