The W123 Multi-Cargo 5855 offers a simpler alternative to the collection’s more pocket-heavy flat-front designs. Its unisex fit and higher waistband deserve as much attention as the shared W123 fabric name.
Five pockets, with useful divisions
Wink identifies front slash pockets, cargo pockets including a scissors slot, and a back patch pocket with a pen slot. The published total is five. Smaller slots add organization but should not be confused with five large cargo compartments.
Map where you want to put your phone, pens, and other permitted essentials. If you rarely use rear storage, a lower pocket total may be perfectly adequate. Check whether a loaded side pocket bumps your knee while you walk.
Fit the rise to your body
The official model has straight legs and a high-rise elastic waist with a drawcord. Unisex sizing does not mean that your usual women’s or men’s letter size will translate directly. Measure and use the relevant chart, then check how the crotch and back rise sit.
This pant’s regular inseam is 30 inches, while short and tall are listed at 28 and 32. That differs from the W123 men’s flat-front pant, so reordering by collection alone can produce the wrong length.
