Originals 4200 is the women’s tapered utility design with a full elastic waistband. Cherokee describes a missy relaxed fit, natural rise and a 15-inch bottom opening. This makes it a different silhouette and waist arrangement from the unisex drawstring 4100. The main fabric is 65% polyester and 35% cotton, without spandex listed in the composition.
What changes in daily use
The official storage description names two cargo patch pockets plus phone and accessory compartments at the right. Amazon summarizes that arrangement as four pockets. These are not four equivalent spaces: the smaller compartments may suit separate tools, but their dimensions are not supplied. Because the principal storage sits on the legs, consider how easily you reach it while seated and whether your pocket load pulls against the waistband.
Fit and length
Cherokee lists regular at 30 inches, petite at 27½ and tall at 33. These measurements are shorter than several other Workwear pants with the same length labels, so compare the actual number before ordering. The elastic waist simplifies pulling the pants on, while room through the hips and thighs must come from choosing the right size. A waist that stretches comfortably does not by itself establish that the seat has enough ease for bending.
