Understand the material choice
The main fabric is 65% polyester and 35% cotton poplin. No spandex is listed. If you are switching from a stretch scrub, check sitting room through the seat and thighs carefully rather than assuming the waistband adjustment will solve every fit issue. A drawstring changes the waist opening; it does not add room elsewhere.
Cherokee currently describes this model as a natural-rise tapered leg. The Amazon listing represented here is a black large. Keep that model identity separate from other Originals pants: the unisex 4100 has a different storage arrangement and is not the same garment.
The tall option is unusual
The manufacturer lists short at 28½ inches and regular at 31 inches. Tall is listed at 36 inches and explicitly arrives unhemmed. That makes the tall option a different buying decision: allow for finishing the hem to your preferred length rather than treating 36 inches as a ready-to-wear measurement.
