Core Stretch 4243 is the seven-pocket men’s utility design with a natural rise and tapered leg. Cherokee documents an elastic waistband, adjustable drawstring and buttoned zip fly. The fabric is 55% cotton, 42% polyester and 3% spandex. Compared with Originals 4000, the composition includes spandex; that fact alone does not establish a preferred fit or how much room the garment supplies.
What changes in daily use
Its two front pockets, two double cargo arrangements and one back patch pocket make seven storage locations. This distributes much of the capacity along the thighs rather than across two rear pockets. If you sit with tools in the cargo pockets, check whether the contents remain accessible and comfortable in that position. A seven-pocket design can be helpful for separation, but it does not mean every pocket can hold the same object.
Fit and length
The official product page publishes a 31-inch inseam and an 18-inch bottom opening. Only that inseam is recorded here; other retailer length labels need their own measurement confirmation.
