Signature versus Essentials

EDS Signature 86106 has 55% cotton and 45% polyester brushed poplin, with no spandex listed. It combines an all-around elastic waist, natural rise and tapered leg in a missy relaxed fit. Its approximate published inseams are 28 inches petite, 30.5 regular and 33.5 tall.

EDS Essentials DK010 and DK005 use 95% polyester and 5% spandex poplin. Their contemporary fit deserves a fresh size-chart check if you are moving from Signature. Shared branding does not mean the same room through the seat and thigh.

Choose the waistband you want to adjust

DK010 is a mid-rise straight leg with an elastic waistband and adjustable drawstring. DK005 has a natural rise, tapered leg and wide ribbed elastic waist. Compare the waist while sitting and with your usual pocket contents; an agreeable empty-pant fit is not the whole decision.

The seven-pocket totals for 86106 and DK005 come from the Amazon listings. Inspect the compartment layout before treating each counted opening as full-size storage. DK010’s regular inseam is verified at 30.5 inches, but its official petite and tall measurements conflict between product details and the size chart. Confirm the exact variant instead of carrying a length assumption across the collection.

Dynamix and Balance expand the comparison

Dynamix DK130 pairs a mid-rise straight leg with a wide elastic drawstring waist and 91% polyester, 9% spandex fabric. Two front pockets and two cargo slip pockets provide open access; a back zip pocket supplies a separate closure. Its secure pocket sits behind the wearer, which is a useful distinction from models that put zipped storage at the thigh.

Men’s Balance DK220 uses 77% polyester, 20% rayon and 3% spandex stretch twill. It has a straight leg, an interior drawstring, a button and a functional zip fly, with six pockets including an interior cargo compartment. The Balance DK224 listing identifies a separate men’s jogger, but its full fabric and waist specifications remain unverified. Xtreme Stretch 82011 adds a named women’s drawstring flare; its profile likewise leaves unconfirmed measurements and composition open.
